How to Prevent & Remove Deodorant Stains from Your Shirts

So you’ve finally made the switch to natural deodorant, but you are finding that it is leaving oily marks on the underarms of your shirts-- what do you do?! Don’t sweat it, we’re here to help!

No need to worry, our deodorant doesn’t typically leave marks on your shirts, but in the cases we have heard of, it is usually from using a bit too much of the product. Most conventional deodorants and antiperspirants have filler ingredients, which have taught us that we need to use a lot of their product for it to work. That, however, is not the case with AP deodorant. All of the ingredients in our deodorant serve a specific purpose in our recipe, so only 1-2 swipes per arm is all you need to leave you feeling fresh all day! (Which means 1 tube lasts longer than most other deodorants!)

So back to those pesky marks… it’s a pretty simple solution: baking soda. Go about washing your shirts in the same way you normally would, but before you close the washing machine door, toss in ¼ cup of baking soda.

We use coconut oil and shea butter in our recipe, which individually would leave marks if you rubbed them on your shirts. However, with the addition of the other ingredients and only using 1-2 swipes of our per arm, you (and your shirts) should be in the clear!

Our products are formulated to keep you feeling your best so you can go confidently anywhere your day takes you!
